After a long day at school, I rushed home and after relaxing for a bit I decided to call Stacey.
“Katelynnnnnn” she said.
”I miss you babe,” she continued.
“You’ve only been gone for like two week and already Jazz thinks that she can talk to me” she said dramatically.
Jazz is this cheerleader at our school who used to bully me but after Stacey became captain of the cheerleading team her tune changed. Since then she’s been trying to replace me as Stacey’s best friend. With me gone she might actually accomplish her goal.
“But enough about the drama over here, tell me all about your new school. Any cute boys? Did you make any friends yet?” She asked changing the subject.
Do I tell her about my so-called friends at the school?
”There's a couple of cute boys, one them stole my pop tart and I got this guy Chase you keep saying we're friends.”
”Wait, I'm going to need you little miss to tell me this story from start to finish about Mr.Sexy pants who stole your pop tart” she squealed.
”I never said he was sexy, ” I added although Dean was kind of sexy.
”The way you said he stole your pop tart sounds like sexy so tell me, girl, ” she squealed again.
So I told her everything, about Chase, Livvie and Dean.
”Oh wow look at you, one week at a new school and you're making all types of moves.” Stacey said with excitement.
”Making friends, falling in love and being a part of a love triangle.”
”Are you smoking Stace?” I asked her because how did she get that from what I told her.
”Girl, don't fight it. You even said you felt something when y' all hands touched. It's like the stuff you read in love stories. Omg, I can't believe this!”
”It wasn't like that, ” I tried defending myself again.
”it just felt like I knew him or something. It wasn't romantic, trust me I'm looking for new friends starting tomorrow ” I continued.
”Oh, no you don't little miss, the people you mentioned even Livvie sounds kinda cool. You will not find new friends, I forbid you”.
”Ok, mother,” I said and bust out laughing.
”Still laughing over that lame line,” Stacey said.
